I know my dog, Zola, would especially love the bolster on this bed. It lets him sleep but keep one eye open just in case a human may go near the cookie jar!

The bottom of this bed is comprised of waterproof nylon which lets this bed work just as well indoors as outdoors. Perfect if you want to take your dog with you camping or boating. Your pup will stay nice and dry while the bottom of the bed keeps the moisture and cold away.

The bed is comfy and soft since it is filled with fleece fabric constructed from recycled plastic soda pop bottles. It is estimated by Bowsers that this particular bed helps eliminate up to 30 pop bottles from ending up in the landfill.

The Paw-rific JR Kitty Gympretty much has it all: 3 scratching posts, space for hanging toys as well as a generous paw-shaped platform that’s ideal for heftier (or just plain lazy) felines.It may seem a bit pricey to some (about $152), but the folks at CatsPlay.com promise it as a quality keeper.

Planet Dog makes this recycled chewbone from materials left over from manufacturing other products. It is non-toxic, and you can recycle the scraps when your dog is done with it. Unfortunately, it is only rated for “average” aggressive chewers. If your dog is part piranha, like mine are, you may want to look for something sturdier.  Available from Eco Pet for $9.95.

This toy may resemble a tentacled monstrosity straight out of an HP Lovecraft story, but it’s made of recycled materials and your dog will love playing tug-of-war with the tentacles. Supposedly quite durable-for $18.99 at Amazon.com, it had better be!
