It’s a good classic shape, but would be greatly improved in looks by a coat of paint or stain, as without it, it really does look like cheap plastic. Unlike wood though, it is rot-proof, insect proof and moisture resistant, so should last a good length of time.

Beware if your dog is a fierce chewer though, as it might not be fully chew-proof! It fits dogs up to 65 lb and has a flap door to keep your pet cozy. While of course most dogs who hang out at great green pet are more likely to sleep on a comfy bed in the master bedroom there are times when a dog needs to be in a dog house! A comfy, cozy dog bed is a must for your pet, unless you are happy for him to take over the couch! This bolster bed is wonderfully soft but still supportive with plenty of room to stretch out on.

The bed is hand made in Montana from recycled materials and has a cover in soft fleece fabric that is easy to wash. It is available in four colors, copper, thyme green, natural wheat, and sea blue and comes in various sizes from the enormous extra large (32” x 26”) to a petite small (12” by 9”).

Some owners find that these beds aren’t as thick and fully stuffed as some other dog beds but none of the dogs mentioned had any problem with that! So if you want more room to stretch out on the couch then get one of these for your dog. Not cheap but they are an earth friendly option.
