Yes, ladies and gentlemen, you are looking at a toilet seat for cats. Wow. Just…wow.  I can’t decide if this is sheer genius or simply lunacy. However,  at least some of the reviewers on Amazon were able to use this seat to toilet train their cats. If you can make it work, more power to you. Clay litter is often produced by strip-mining and takes gasoline to ship, so you’ll be doing the planet a favor.

Dog toys equipped with places to hide treats are a great way of keeping your dog out of trouble when you aren’t home, or to distract him when you need some piece and quiet.  This toy is great for keeping your little mischief-maker away from your shoes, but I’m not sure what makes it “eco-friendly.” It’s recyclable, so I guess you could recycle the scraps once your dog chews it to pieces, but wouldn’t it be better if it were made of recycled material?

I doubt these would make a big difference for allergy sufferers, unless the allergies were very mild. This herbal ointment is formulated to naturally strengthen the pads on your pet’s paws, protecting them from injuries caused by sharp thorns, rocks or pavement.  If you take your dog hiking a lot, this might be a good investment. This plush dog toy is basically a sleeve that fits over a used plastic water bottle.  When your dog chews on it, the water bottle inside produces a crinkly sound that your dog will love but that just might drive you barking mad.  Still, it’s a good way to recycle and make your dog happy at the same time.  Available from Jake’s Dog House for $9.95.

This concoction  is essential for any dog owner, especially if you are housetraining a puppy.  It uses non-toxic, natural enzymes to dissolve the odor-causing chemical compounds in the mess your dog left on your rug.  Good stuff!
